Izzie Clarke is an award-winning podcast producer, presenter, author and science journalist, and was listed on the Radio Academy’s 30 Under 30 list for 2022 as “one to watch”.

Combining a Physics Masters with a background in entertainment radio, Izzie has tried astronaut training, race car driving and making fireworks in her mission to show people that science isn’t boring.

A proud space nerd, Izzie hosts and produces the #1 astronomy podcast in the UK; The Supermassive Podcast for The Royal Astronomical Society. This has lead to her writing TWO books about all things space:

Previously, Izzie began her media career at BBC 6 Music & Radio 2, was a presenter/producer for BBC 5 Live Science (The Naked Scientists), she has presented her own show on BBC Radio 1 as well as co-hosted a video series on genetics for BBC Radio 1 iPlayer.
